The Santa Maria della Scala is pleased to host, from October 3 to 5, 2025, the fifth edition of Siena Comics For Kids, the comic festival dedicated to children and teenagers.
After the great success of the 2024 edition, which recorded over 6,000 visitors, the festival returns with a new lineup full of content. The goal remains to engage young readers, aged 6 to 18, promote reading, and enhance the vibrant culture of comics for young people, an expressive language that is constantly growing.
For three days, the museum complex will come alive with a market exhibition designed for the younger audience, workshops, meetings, and events dedicated to the latest innovations in the Ninth Art, offering an engaging and accessible cultural experience.
The star of this edition will be Alessandro Barbucci, author of beloved series such as W.I.T.C.H. and Sky Doll, who will be the guest of honor with a solo exhibition and a special focus on Monster Allergy, the cult series created together with Katja Centomo and Francesco Artibani, now published by Tunué and also made into a successful animated series. Barbucci will also sign the official festival poster.
