The San Giuseppe Room, reached through the San Pio Room, currently holds an intriguing display of a group of plaster casts made by the Sienese sculptor Tito Sarrocchi. The works on exhibit are some of the roughly two-hundred plaster of Paris models donated by the artist to the City of Siena in 1894 and deposited in part at the art school which bears his name (originally his studio) and in part distributed among various rooms in municipal buildings before being transferred to Santa Maria della Scala.
